Police investigate a stabbing

IOWA CITY, IA. -- On Friday, November 14th, at 1:13am, Iowa City police officers responded to report of stabbing that occurred at lot 25 Thatcher Tr. Ct. Responding officers located both parties involved, in the street, in front of the residence. One subject was transported by ambulance to University of Iowa Hospitals for treatment of a puncture wound to the stomach. The other subject was treated at the scene for cuts to her arm. Neither of the individuals injuries are thought to be life threatening. The case remains under investigation by the Iowa City Police Department.
