The New York Times and the Associated Press are reporting that former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman will drop out of the race to become the Republican nominee for President of the United States.
Huntsman skipped the Iowa Caucuses putting all his nomination eggs in the New Hampshire Primary basket. Despite months of campaigning there, he finished a disappointing third.
According to Real Clear Politics, an outfit that averages out several polls, Huntsman is polling last in South Carolina, at just 5.7 percent.
His campaign has just never really gained any traction with voters.
The New York Times and Associated Press reports also indicated that Huntsman will endorse Mitt Romney, as early as tomorrow.
