We are in for a fight that few people can imagine come November. Obama cares about only one thing and that is his re-election and he will be heavily funded. Do not underestimate how much money this guy will raise for his campaign plus all of the Super PAC’s that support him. To give you and idea of the disadvantage the Republicans will be at, take a look at the following. Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the chart to see the totals.

If those numbers are not enough to worry you, consider the fact that the Republicans are on a path to spend all of their money tearing each other apart.

Now comes the real worry, the Republicans might go to the convention without a sure nominee. Since the convention runs till August 30, that means that it could essentially be September before a nominee is selected. If it is a brokered convention, the nominee might even be somebody other than the current 4 candidates.

Regardless of who the nominee is, they will only have 9 weeks to get their organization and strategy put together. When you consider the fact that some of the current candidates’ haven’t been able to get on all the state ballots because of their lack of organization, it doesn’t bode well for the Republicans.

Our best bet is to have a nominee locked up as soon as possible, save as much campaign money as possible to fight Obama, avoid the self-destruction that is occurring and get the nominee’s organization in place. Time and money are not on our side in this race.

Here is a link to help give you an indication of what Republicans are up against in November. The total money that will probably be spent by the other side is upwards of $1 Billion.

In the meantime, we have many on the conservative side of the ledger that are willing to ignore the reality of the Obama juggernaut facing us and are content to focus on destroying each other because the candidate's ideology might be 20% different than their own. The reality of November is that Obama's ideology is 100% different.

A wounded Republican candidate with little or no money left does not have much of a chance. But I am sure there will be a faction of the Republican Party very happy because THEIR guy was the nominee.

If Obama has a billion dollars to spend and a faking "Republican" has half a billion dollars to spend, the alternatives are still only like the difference between arsenic and strycchnine. If Obama spends a trillion I'm not swallowing either flavor of poison, and what you want to swallow is up to you. Only a moron would think that because someone calls himself a Republican, therefore that person is actually a Republican. To explain the concept so that any run-of-the-mill moron can understand: The guys who hijacked planes on 9/11 masqueraded as respectable established businessmen. As first-class passengers, they flew the planes they were going to hijack several times, to get to know the routine and to blend in. They got to know the crews, and the crews got to know them, on a first-name basis no less. They lived with their wives and children in white-picket fence suburbia. They did everything they needed to do to appear friendly. So, that means they were OK good fellows, right? Some people don't get it until their throats are slashed in the cockpit and the rest are flown into a skyscraper at 500 miles an hour. Equally, some people in Coralville and the rest of Iowa don't get it when the homosexual and abortion interest infiltrators grab hold of party machinery and steal votes, stuff ballot boxes, count votes 'for you,' in the back room, call in your results 'for you' to Des Moines, and tell us everything is OK before, during, and after the caucus or any other 'election' as in 'OK' because the self-anointed experts are in charge. But morons and other apathetic cattle never need to worry about what is actually being rigged up, and to help make sure the anesthesia is properly dosed Terry Branstad (at last notice) will be spreading the gospel in Johnson County March 23 to tell us how wonderful everything is. What counts isn't the label. What counts is what's inside the box, whether the manufacturer wants you to peek inside or not.
