Is Chief Justice John Roberts someone to be scorned, or is he a genius?

Chief Justice John Roberts joined the liberal wing of the Supreme Court and gave President Obama a victory by upholding the individual mandate for ObamaCare.

My initial gut reaction was, "John Roberts disgusts me."

But if you think about it, what John Roberts did was fire up conservatives, Tea Party folks and small government advocates all across the country.

John Roberts just altered the course of the 2012 election.  I think he just guaranteed a win for the GOP in November.

Genius.  Thank you George W. Bush.

I agree, Mike. But is that really a good thing? How much difference is there between D's and R's? We must get liberty-loving R's in office; not just R's.
