Barack Obama does not take the job of President seriously enough. He shouldn't be re-elected for that reason alone.
According to statistics compiled for the book “The Rise of the President’s Permanent Campaign,” by Naval Academy political scientist Brendan Doherty, the Campaigner In Chief set a record for total first-term fundraisers, holding 191. That record was established on March 6, 2012. He’s held a whole lot more fundraisers since then, padding his total. What Obama has done in ignoring his duties as President, exceeds the COMBINED total of George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter.
According to the same book, the Campaigner In Chief is the first President in 32 years to visit all the key battleground states during his first year in office. Do the math on that. He has manipulated much of his travels to 15 swing states that account for over a third of the country’s population and the must have electoral votes.
More people need to be educated on a stark reality: Obama has an obsession with campaigning. He likes it to an alarming fault. He does it instead of performing the job of President!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. If President Obama was doing his job and doing it well, he wouldn’t need to campaign so much.
