As TMZ reported, the car was in for repairs to its transmission. Dr. Phil and a friend had been working on the car to get it to start, but, when they couldn’t, they decided to take it to a repair shop. It was picked up on a flatbed truck, taken to the shop, and never seen again.
Several hours later, the shop called Dr. Phil to say that his car had been stolen.
