CORALVILLE, IA. -- We got about an inch of rain overnight and this morning, even a bit of pea sized hail around 7:20AM.
If my calendar notes are correct, we've received more than 3-1/2 inches of rain for the month. According to the NOAA National Climatic Data Center, a typical August in the Iowa City area averages 4.7 inches of rain.
The lawns are looking green. Keep it coming Mother Nature and thanks!
