You know Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day had a very LARGE impact and in a way liberals don't like when area liberal publications refuse to cover the story and even pulled stories they had run prior to the event.
The Iowa City DePressed Citizen didn't run a story, despite first hand accounts of lines of people all day long buying Chick-Filet-A meals coming from a variety of blog, Twitter, Facebook and word of mouth sources. That's news folks, it's local news too with a Chick-Fil-A located at the Coral Ridge Mall, but the DePressed-Citizen chose to ignore journalistic obligation, they chose liberal ideology and squashing instead. 'Community' paper my rear end...... The Iowa City DePressed Citizen blew off doing what's right.
Prior to Appreciation Day, BlogforIowa.com had run an anti-Chick-Fil-A story, but gosh, as a result of the overwhelming customer support and turnout yesterday, BlogforIowa.com is apparently embarrassed. The story is now non-existent! I wish their anti-Chick-Fil-A post was still available so I could point out the many flaws in it, but that's exactly why the story was pulled. The intellectual cowards at blogforiowa.com couldn't handle the success of Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.
If liberal sources ignore it you see, they can pretend it didn't happen. If they don't mention it, they don't have to deal with the backlash. Liberals don't like being exposed to the truth.
Yesterday's success was a day that free speech won, people stood up in support of core values and wouldn't be bullied into the twisted, liberal way of thinking. Liberal notions, were REJECTED yesterday.
