Candidate for Iowa House District 77 welcomes Iowa Secretary of State, Matt Schultz
Steve Sherman, Republican nominee for House District 77 has scheduled a fundraiser for Tuesday, August 28 at 6:30 PM. Sherman’s special guest will be Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz.
The fundraiser will be held in the barn of Jan and Steve Weeber, 4893 Kansas Ave. SW in rural Iowa City and is open to the public. The cost to attend in $30 per person or $50 per couple. Refreshments will be served.
In addition, a silent auction will be held with autographed items from GOP Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, former US Senator and Presidential candidate Rick Santorum, novels written by Sherman, and a flag flown over the Iowa Capitol donated by State Senator Sandy Greiner.

Iowa House District 77 is a new district created by redistricting and includes the communities of North Liberty, Tiffin, Oxford, Swisher, Shueyville, and Lone Tree along with the townships of Monroe, Jefferson, Madison, Hardin, Union, Liberty, Washington, Pleasant Valley, Lincoln, Sharon and Fremont.
Steve Sherman is an 18 year resident of North Liberty where he and his wife Amy live with their four children. He is proponent of property tax reform, improving Iowa schools, and a common sense approach to government.
