DAVENPORT, IA: At Schebler Manufacturing today, John Archer (R-Bettendorf) was joined by several local small business owners and announced the Small Business Owners & Professionals for Archer Coalition.
“I am pleased to have the support of these business leaders; Iowa small business men and women sacrifice their time and money out of a passion for what they do. And as a result, they grow the economy,” Archer said.
“Congressman Loebsack and President Obama have lost touch with our economy. They have failed to create an environment for job creation, they have failed to get spending under control, and they continue to put off important issues,” Archer continued. “What these job creators need is government to get out of their way and create an environment that will foster innovation and investment and help job creators without raising taxes on working families and small business owners. It is time that we provide certainty, and common sense pro-growth policies so that we can give small business owners renewed confidence in our economy, and remove Washington’s roadblocks to job creation.”
“John understands international business and he understands small business,” said Mark Ross, owner of Ross Business Services in Scott County. “Archer knows businesses need predictability from their government. Businesses and families should not be wondering how much ObamaCare will cost them. And he knows we need to reduce spending and regulations so businesses hire again. I am proud to be member of the Archer for Congress Small Business Owners Coalition, because as a businessman himself, John knows firsthand that Iowa’s job creators deserve a congressman that will take commonsense business practices – like a balanced budget for example– and apply it to government.”
Patricia Lipski, owner of Patricia J Lipski Law Office in Jefferson County, added, “We need a government that will encourage small business growth, not one that over-taxes, over-regulates, and ends up stifling job creation. John Archer understands this and he will create an environment which will get our economy moving again. I am proud to be on his Small Business Owners & Professionals for Archer coalition.”
