The biggest thing to take away from last night's presidential debate
By Mike Thayer
It wasn't so much about the numbers, Obama's record vs. Romney's, or the ideologies....
To paraphrase James Carville, It's the work ethic stupid.
It was clear that Romney took debate prep MUCH more seriously than Obama did.
Romney's work ethic was on display, so was Obama's - the lack of it.
THAT is going to hit home with voters. It's on display for everybody to see, look how hard Romney works, look at how Obama does not. Romney is action, Obama is talk. Reasonable people already know this, but it was on display last night. It's the visual that people needed to see. Romney takes the job of President seriously, Obama does not.
THAT, not the words, gets Romney a victory. Romney the focused executive, is out-working Obama the community organizer. Last night was a demonstration of a man who rolls up his sleeves and goes to work at fixing things vs. a man who props his feet on his desk and complains in a posh Vegas hotel that debate prep is," a drag."
