NO! In Sparta, people were taught the art of wielding a sword and defending themselves at a very young age. You didn't mess with a Spartan for that reason and gosh, there's no story in their history about a man mass murdering children at a school, imagine that! A Spartan's KNOWLEDGE and a practiced RESPONSIBILITY of that knowledge was a deterrent. Today's sword is a gun, we need to TEACH gun use, not ban it! ~ Mike Thayer
