IOWA CITY, IA. -- In a study of 500 participants ranging in age from 18 - 65+, it was found that the more a person watches TV, the more they tend to vote Democrat. Participants were questioned on their voting status, age, how much television they typically watch per day and what kind of programming they prefer.
Results also indicated that the type of television programming watched also had a significant impact on how individuals vote. People who watch a lot of sitcoms, reality shows or programs like American Idol for example, tend to vote for Democrats. In contrast, people who typically watch news or 'how to' related shows tend to vote for Republicans.
That's not a real study, but I would contend the premise is true.
Take the Coralville Courier survey on this very topic, I dare you! And to you Democrats, I dare you to be honest!
