Our mission is to provide medical and surgical treatment that will lead to the restoration of health and adoption for our shelter animals.

We also provide advanced medical care and facilitate placement of animals that do not adopt through the CRACC shelter into foster-based rescues as an alternative to euthanasia.
CCCR offers life and limb-saving medical and surgical interventions for our homeless animal population. From diagnosis through treatment, we work side by side with our veterinary partners to insure the most comprehensive medical and surgical options are available. Shelter pets are often viewed as castaways of society. They arrive at shelters in very poor condition from being neglected and stray. These are animals that would drain resources from a budget-conscious shelter and are generally the first to be euthanized due to financial restrictions. This is where CCCR steps in. We become a cushion to ease unfortunate animals back to health and adoptability. These are the pets who have suffered the most and without question, deserve the chance to be healthy and loved.
Our Medical/Surgical Interventions Include;
Complex surgical fracture repairs for traumatic injuries, endoscopic procedures, brachycephalic syndrome corrections, cancer surgery, tumor removal, heart, entropion, hip, cataract, dental surgery and muscle-nerve biopsies.
We also treat of a wide variety of medical conditions that
include Cushing’s disease, diabetes, demodectic mange, congestive heart failure, seizure management, ophthalmology consults, biopsies, CT Scans, ultrasounds, neurological consults, echo cardiograms, ringworm, heartworm and treatment of Parvo and other viral/bacterial diseases. We are committed to meeting any medical/surgical need for our shelter animals.
